A vision inspired by art, light and emotion

I’m Yann Bader, photographer of editorial and timeless weddings.

My profession was born of a deeply personal moment: my own wedding in August 2020.
Standing in front of the lens that day allowed me to experience the importance of each image, and above all, to feel how much the presence of a photographer could transform a couple’s experience.

Before photographing weddings, I studied applied arts.
I have a double specialisation in product design and interior architecture.
This artistic background now influences every shot I take: the composition, the harmony, the light, the visual narrative… everything is thought through with care, sensitivity and balance.

My connection with images also comes from my family history.
My father was a war reporter and journalist at La Provence.
Very early on, I learnt that behind each photograph there was a truth, an intention, a testimony.

I practised martial arts for a long time, to the point of wanting to teach before the pandemic.
This discipline taught me to be rigorous, to be present, to listen and to be discreet: qualities that I now use to help each couple I accompany.

I’m also the proud father of two children: Oliver and Victoria.
I love travelling, hiking, exploring the lights of the world and the faces of love.
These inspirations fuel my vision, so that each image is both personal and universal.
